    I think the earliest should be high school but I have seen younger, but today tops it all. I just saw a kid that was 2 have one. I couldnt believe it, wtf?

    My mom got me one (left ear) by the time I was 6... but that shit's been gone for good since a year or 2 later.

    First off - no child should have an earring until they are old enough to make an educated decision to do so. Any parent who pierces a child's ear (or nose, or whatever) in order to decorate their child should be arrested because this is a form of child abuse.

    Second men should not have their ear's pierced. If God wanted them to have an extra hole, he would have made them women.

    Note - I'm over 40 so of course my opinions are old school. Men had tattoos and women had pierced ears. I know that times have changed, but I stick by what I believe.

    im 100% with almost everyone that has posted. i am old school too, but have friends that have them, and i bust there balls about it. but seriously, if my son ever comes home with one, i dont know what i would do besides smack the shit out of him
