My alma mater, Glenoak HS, is 6-1. They are looking really good. Tonight they beat one of our biggest rivals. Is HS football a big deal where you are from? In NE Ohio it is a pretty big deal and we have a pretty big program. Also a guy I grew up with and graduated with is the head coach so it's good to see him doing well. How's your school doing? NorCalJeff, is this your senior year?

my team would murder your team.
seriously, they all pack glocks. -
3-3....had a 50 spot hung on 'em last week.
-
lol at referring to your high school as an alma mater.
I hate my high school, I hope it burns down (again), it's happened twice. -
Highschool football matters outside of the south?
I live less then a mile from our HS football field. I havent known the final score to one of their games since I graduated in '03 -
In NE Ohio and western PA it's huge. I don't go to the games but I do follow them online. My daughter goes to a different school so I go to their home games now

there isn't a single person i am still in contact with from my high school (well one but i also grew up down the street from her) and i live over 2k miles from my home town.
i'm a spartan not a viking. -
i'm an astronaut

both of these. Actually, I haven't known the final score to one of our games probably since junior year.Originally Posted by Jaybone2315

However, we are apparently 3-2 (2-0 in conference) and gained 427 rushing yards in our last game. So, that's something.
Also, I learned that we apparently had a three-star running back in the class of 2011. This is pretty cool because before that I thought we had only had one D-1 player ever; now we have had two, apparently.
Although, maybe still only one because apparently this guy didn't academically qualify (at San Diego State). sighduck. -
It was a joke about being a nerd so you were prolly bullied in HS, hence why I said you probably hated it...
You get way to butt hurt to easily -
6-0 going for state record of 39 straight wins and 3 straight undefeated state titles.

6-0, going for their 71st regular season win in a row tomorrow night. Pretty good chance the streak ends tomorrow night.

Ok, cool. Didn't know ya'll had that long of a regular season win streak. Impressive.
-
Collinwood Railroaders 0-6. Outscored so far 296 - 52. Played Glenville tonight which produced Ted Ginn, Troy Smith, etc. I expect it to be another shutout though.
My wifes team is 0-5 so far. Homecoming is tomorrow against Wynne. So far they have been outscored 160 - 48. -
Nobody cares about high school football around here.
-
Our team beat jay cutlers high school for the first time in years this year so that's good.

didn't read......

My school started 5-0 and is ranked 3rd in the state. They were just forced to forfeit the first 2 games of the season for having had an ineligible player play. So, officially their record is 3-2 now.
