i watched the video this morning, really didn't offend me at all. Idk why. All the analyst *complete jokes* were all kinds of pissed about it. Maybe i suck at life but meh this doesn't bother me.

it bothers me that they were released to the public

also none of my friends would try to send me to jail for a car wreck and my family wouldnt do it to my friends. obv these clowns were close.

im sure the kid who is in the coma is free and clear of all wrong doing and is a saint

seems like this is a case of bad decisions made by teenagers.

In an accident that serious, the decision isn't usually left up to the victim's family, I believe it's up to the DA for that area.

i dont think nick should take all the blame for the other kids condition. however, he should carry the majority (like 80%) of it, but the kid wasnt wearing a seatbelt. if i remember right from the last thread on it, there were 2 other people in the car and they all had their seatbelts on, and they all walked away. if im riding in a car without a seatbelt(i always were it) and the driver starts driving like a madman, that seat belt is going on immed.

The worst thing they have Nick saying over 26 hours of tape is saying John was a negative person. Give me a fucking break. This sensationalist reporting makes me sick. Lock any teenager in jail (basically solitary) for over two weeks and 90%+ of people would say MUCH worse than he did.

Hulk's worst statement over the 26 hours of tape speaks more to his fatalistic views than anything else imho, although I could see people being upset towards what he and his (ex?) wife said on the tapes about John/his family.

standard TMZ taking a beebee and turning it into an atomic bomb... I agree with ol boy who was talkin about Nick jus bein a teenager locked in jail...even more difficult going from being rich and young to trapped in a cell im sure

Personally I am outraged that there would possibly be a market for a Real Ality show starring the son of a roided up gorilla. But I guess that is just me.

Oh and cosign whoever called that woman commentator a "smarmy bitch" of course you haven't talked 26 hours in 2 weeks, you're not in solitary and therefore have better shit to do. I'd like to see her go to jail and see how long she lasts before she starts crying

Not only did he total the car, but his friend John Graziano who was riding shotgun that night will now require lifetime medical care for his critical injuries. The young Hogan was reportedly led off to serve his sentence immediately after it was handed down by the judge. the inmates at the every jail i know of are told that their phone calls may be monitored. there is no right to privacy from jail the only conversations they know are private are those with their lawyers

its def the decision of the prosecutor to decide how to handle the case

Slugger, I think your appeal to emotion is coming on way too strong here. We know the facts of the case. Nick Hogan did his crime, and now he is paying for it. I don't think anything he said was unreasonable given the circumstances. Both of these kids did this sort of driving and knew the risks. I also believe John Graziano was not buckled up. Both made mistakes and one is paying with what essentially is his life.

As for the Hulkster, he seems to feel a greater power/karma is at work when he claims John brought it on himself. Perhaps this is a rationalization because coming to grips with what his beloved son did is simply too hard, especially with the added stress of a public divorce and public scrutiny.

Nick's words are nothing bad, and this reporting is sensationalist junk. Hulk's words are troubling, but you have to mitigate it by realizing what he is going through and that over the course of 26 hours of tape anybody will come off poorly one time or another. Judging someones character off one of these sound clips is a mistake. Hulk could be the scum of the Earth, but not based off this little clip.

As for the tapes, I have no problem with them obtaining them or reporting about it. I have my usual gripe about the tone, content, and commentary surrounding this bit of 'news'.
