    Lots of times I think I am more intelligent and moral than the average person. I just was reminded why I am in fact a stupid person, and a hypocrite for that matter. My girlfriend wanted to check out the forum for something, and by mistake found a thread that I don't even remember making. It was with pictures of some girl that I thought was hot in high school and I titled it "girl I should have hooked up with in high school".

    I feel pathetic for a few reasons:

    1) I did this while I have a girlfriend and didn't even think for a moment how wrong it was.

    2) I posted it on the internet where anyone and their mother could see it.

    3) I berated another poster for considering cheating on his girlfriend; yet meanwhile I'm posting pictures and making stupid comments myself

    It is so ridiculous how we can sit back in our chairs and criticize all types of people from the safety of our own home, and never for a second question our own actions.

    Some might call this stupidity or human nature or both, but I just got smacked with a big dose of reality.

    I keep looking back at all the stupid things I've done so far in my life, and it is so easy to see just how dumb they were, and I wonder what the hell I was thinking. Why can't I stop myself from doing these things before/while they are happening? It's like I'm in a book or movie and have no control over myself. These things aren't major like stealing/cheating/conspiring etc., those things I do control, but little things that add up to create unecessary problems. They detract from my overall self-worth and make me feel just like every other scumbag in movies that ruins their lives and others. If I can see what is right and what is wrong in the future, why can't I apply it at all times? I need help OT... :(

    The truth is you prolly shoulda hooked up with the girl you started the thread about and is no way wrong to feel that way even if you have a GF.

    i never let my wife on here but she knows about it, she is not a snooper though. doesnt know my screen name either but probably could guess. i know she would NEVER use the search engine or know how to look at my past threads. no fucking way. i guess some people are ALOT more computer capable than others.

    There is no way she will be able to understand or comprehend the humor of OT unless she is a part of it.....you just have to try and explain it to her the best you can. She has to know not to take it seriously.

    Not sure how many members of OT there are, but pretty sure that is a small percentage of OT'ers.

    i ate too many already :( now my tummy hurts. i think it was something along the lines of what you said anyhow, like, how everyone has people in their past that they could look back at and say "man, i could have..." but you didn't. it's not like that's an active declaration of infidelity or anything. but also no one really wants to hear about the people their bf/gf/spouuse could have but didn't.
