  1. i just got a new mattress set yesterday and i need some sheets/comforter/etc.

where's the best place to shop for something like this? what should i get? i know high thread count sheets are supposed to be nice, but what kind of material do i want? how much can i expect to spend for a decent setup?

all suggestions are appreciated. especially sarcastic ones. thanks for the help.
  2. www.google.com

it's this really cool new site. give it a try!

  3. Depending on if you have enough time this weekend, you should really go check out BB&B (that's Bed, Bath, and Beyond FYI). They have a lot of good stuff.
  4. Go to BB&B and check out their stuff, lots to choose from and you can feel everything to see what you like the best. Then, if you're trying to save some money, hop on the good ol' interweb and look around a little for comparative material, thread counts, etc... for cheap.

Last time I bought bedding, I got some stuff off Overstock.com, and was happy with what I got. Just kind of balanced the different sale prices with the better materials until I found what I thought was the best value in a color/pattern that I liked.

I got like a 2-inch thick memory foam, which makes my bed more like a pillow-top mattress for a lot less, and I got a duvet, and voila, turned my old shitty comforter into a brand new one.

Think I spent < $200 for a pretty decent setup.

I'm gonna go back to not being teh ghey now, and erase this post from my memory.
  5. coscto....600 thread count each (flat and fitted) make sure it doesn't say 600 count total b/c that would only be 300 thread count each. you can higher thread count if you want to spend more money....but i think you will be very happy with 600's. costco is very reasonably priced and good quality.
  6. Check out "The Company Store", an internet and catalog seller of nice bedding. When they have items on clearance, you can get a good deal.

Also, being back to school time, most larger department stores are having some nice sales.

Highest thread count , all cotton or egyptian cotton you can afford, are your best options.
  7. go to Target and get the bed in a bag thing. Its waay comfy
