  1. The ex and I meet half way to drop off kids and I drove 828 miles today. Left at 6 AM and returned home around 7:30.

Not the most I drove in any one day, I drove over 1400 in a 24 hr period before. South Dakota to near Chattanooga but not by choice. I had won $3000+ right before we left on vacation and ex blew it on BS. I didn't have enough $$$ to get room and was unsure if I had enough gas money to make it back.

What's the most miles you have driven in 24 hour period?
  2. 1600 miles apart.. you guys must really have a thing for each other still

    edit* 800 miles

I have a thing to remain connected to my kids. During most of the drop offs I don't recall even looking at her much

  8. 1208 miles in 22 hours, straight through... a death of a friend necessitated this one, when I used to live in louisiana.

I left between 2 and 3 am, after I'd been up since the previous morning. that was a rough couple of days.
  9. For our senior trip a group of friends and I drove non-stop from Georgia to Montreal. We wouldn't pull over to change drivers we'd just switch while driving. Not exactly sure how many miles it took but we left pretty early and finally got there the next morning.

  17. Central NC to Central VT ~ 800 miles nonstop. In a Penske rental truck with my wife and two dogs in the front with me and also towing a car. I'll never do that again. And we actually left from ATL but stopped for a hotel in NC the night before, so total ~ 1100 mile trip.

In college (1977) me and three other guys took a friends dad's Suburban with a 40 gallon gas tank from Omaha to Copper Mountain, about 600 miles, without stopping, not for gas not to piss, nothing. Changed drivers while driving, brought along big plastic cups to pee in and had plenty of beer. Not the longest drive, but absolutely non stop.

Did the Washington DC to Lincoln, NE drive several times straight through and solo while in college, coming home for summer and going back to school.
