    Youre right, but i think taht attests more to my P5's addiction than hockey. I will agree though, seeing a hockey game in person is a blast...i was never a big fan though and havent really came back to the sport after the strike...GO Sharks i guess...

    the edited title wasn't the "Les"...it was Canadiens de Montreal...meaning the Canadians of Montreal. Not the Montreal de Canadiens (like you have it)...meaning Montreal of Canadians.

    Nice attempted flame though. Too bad you didn't understand the first time. Sorry for trying to correct your french.

    I'm a really big HABS fan... I always liked them when I was younger because of Roy. I also really liked the Devils.

    I renewed my interest in hockey when I started dating my girlfriend over three years ago. Her cousin is Mike Komisarek, so I'm forced to root for them. I also really like their blue-collar work ethic... I was actually really upset when they got Kovalev because I like players like Saiku a lot better.. I just really like the organization as a whole, they're just really classy.

    Anyhow, I'm from Long Island, and both Higgins and Komisarek are from L.I., so I just can't help but root for them.

    Why does hockey suck guys? It's the most entertaining sport alive... you can fight without being fined and suspended, you have the best combination of strength, skill, and smart of any sport, and the players aren't ignorant and on steroids. Also, the Stanley Cup is the most historic and outstanding trophy in all of sports. You watch some playoff hockey this spring and tell me that those guys don't have more character and heart than any other athlete in any other sport. Hockey Owns... the only reason it's not more popular in the United States is because the majority of urban America can't afford the equipment and ice time that it requires to get involved. It's true...

    professer lived in new hampshire on the weekends and liked to listen to the french broadcasts of the canadians. he knew i was a big hockey fan and asked me who lavendel was for the candaians. told him never heard of him. he says he kept here lavendel lavendel....we found out thats french for "the puck"

    It's similar to lacrosse. Another great sport that is finally starting to catch on (not so much on the west coast though).
