you have to think about what your priorities are and what you are willing to live with. is it the not having a job part that really bothers you or is it something else?

He's not a winning player. It would hurt his ego too much to ever tell you. He's just an action junky like most noobs. Also, he's taking advantage of you. Tell him you would like him to start contributing to the bills again. If he asks which/what bills, have an aswer (cable, electric, etc). Gauge his reaction, if it's anything but shameful or willing, then tell him you want to take a break. Then judge his attitude on the break and proceed from there.

this isnt completely true. some guys just need to be nudged in the right direction. marriage is such a huge step, that even though if push came to shove the guy would get married, he would prefer to just keep putting it off for the rest of his life just like putting out the garbage or doing the dishes. just fucking ask him. my friends wife asked him to marry him. sure, we made fun of him for it when we heard, but they had been together for like 5+ years and now the just found out theyre going to have a kid, so everything is working out for them
