  1. Finished the 3rd season of Breaking Bad on Netflix Instant Queue now I need a new show. Suggestions? Only caveat is that it has to be on Instant Queue.

Also, anyone know how quick the rotation is on Netflix? Like, do they generally have new seasons of shows right after the season finishes? Basically, how soon should I expect to see the next season of breaking bad on Netflix?

  2. I just recently watched Breaking Bad for the 1st time too. I couldnt wait and bought the 4th season on itunes after watching the 1st 3 on netflix. Dont expect the 4th season on netflix until its out on DVD....which would be in about a year. :/

To answer your question, I also enjoyed The League if you havent seen that. 1st 2 seasons are on Netflix.

  3. umm def google "watch breaking bad season 4 online" ldo

  4. party Down, Parks and Rec, Mad Men, Louie, Arrested Development, The Office (UK). You've probably seen some but not all of these.

But really, find season 4 for Breaking Bad first ffs. No idea how you just let yourself wait when its right there for the watching.

I really liked the first couple seasons of Party Down but it quickly fell off IMO.

    There were only two seasons...

Really liked the show but Jane Lynch leaving for glee really hurt it imo

  12. Psych is literally the only first-run fictional show I still watch. Not enough people have seen it because it's on USA, but it's in its 6th season now and is probably better than it has ever been. It's mostly a comedy, but there's some drama in there as well. If you want to try something different, I think this is a great show to start with.

I'll also add my +1 to recommending party Down. If you want to see another classic show that is kind of a mix between Psych and Party Down, check out Veronica Mars. Written by the same dude who made Party Down. If you're into "whodunnits" and constantly evolving plotlines, you'd like VM.

Youre right. I watched all of season one on starz in the same day and I guess I thought it was two different seasons.

This, but you might want to stop after season 1. No matter what, avoid season 4.

  20. "Shameless" is my new favorite show... get on board before season 2 starts next month.

    showtime show by the way.
  21. Spaced, Terriers, Dollhouse, Trailer Park Boys

Mad Men should be first on your list if you haven't seen it, but those ones are great shows that not enough people have been exposed to. All of them are relatively short as well. TPB has a ton of seasons but they are all only a few episodes long.

Psych is great but it isn't really serialized to a great extent, it's a fun show to burn a few hours on. You can watch any random episode after you watch the first few and won't be lost.

I'm assuming you don't have HBO Go, so I won't go through the pantheon of amazing HBO shows.

You better have watched Arrested Development, I didn't mention it above because I generally respect your views on TV shows and assume that this is one that you have watched. If you haven't it should be just slightly behind Mad Men on your must watch this shit now list.

  26. I've never seen Breaking Bad or Friday Night Lights which I am pretty sure I will love since my the school my son will be going to just won their 5th str8 Texas State title last night which I heard was a record for any state. Which series is better? I also really like White Collar and Glades and Dexter so you get an idea of what I like. I don't know if FNL is on Netflix but know Breaking Bad is so the decision might be made for me. Any other good ones??

I could just read the fucking thread and not post repetitive shit ldo :(
but what fun would that be

Dude, Breaking Bad is far and away the best show I have ever seen. You are missing out big time. The show is the absolute undisputed nuts. To be honest I doubt any other show can fill it's place, the show is so awesome.

FTR other shows that I have exhausted are Trailer Park Boys and Arrested Development.

There are a lot of suggestions in this thread but I am seeing little overlap. I have been wanting to check out Sons of Anarchy and am even more interested after reading Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson (diff gang completely but same motorcycle theme) and also heard somewhere that the show is loosely based on a local gang out of Niwot Colorado called the Sons of Silence. Am I going to be dissapoint with SOA?

Tried Archer, that one is a cartoon right? I could not even make it through one episode. Tim and Eric are on Netflix? Had no idea. The Wire is not on Instant Queue or I would be watching that as I am reading Homicide which I believe was the initial book which lead to the series.
