I need new tires!!???

    I need new tires for my '99 Ford Explorer and I was wondering if anyone who new anything about cars or tires had any suggestions. tx

    I was looking for some good tires.....i figured some people here might know more than i would and I don't feel like trusting the salesman or just reordering the same ones....

    Eddie Ill give you a serious answer...

    On my truck the size that were on there and what come stock on 2004 Ford F-150 are really hard to find. I researched it and found that you can go one size up or down and not have a problem. You can go to http://www.tiresizecalculator.info/ if you run into this problem that I had.
    Also try http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tire.htm pretty simple explanations of how and what to look for.
    Last I went here:
    http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/c...p;HBX_PK=Tires all the reports on which tires are good and which suck...etc. I had to spend $550 for 4 new so it was well worth my time to research it all.
