there is your answer. go get a wireless card or adapter.
  9. Where are you going mobile with a desktop? The wire comes out of the wall and i'm sure no one is carrying it around looking for a hot spot?
I just dont think there is a real market for it?

  10. Sounds like a question you should be asking the people at Best Buy before you purchase the desktop.

  12. I use cables because my network has a transfer speed of 400MBps and my wireless is only 54MBps.

I'd expect all laptops and netbooks to have wireless, but desktops are probably not moving around that much.
  13. so no desktops come with a wireless card nowadays? thats kinda bullshit.

    go get a lynksys adapter

Most come with adapters. He bought it at best buy where they make most of their money selling $10 computer components for like $60, things like wireless adapters.

just take the old one and put it in the new comp like someone already mentioned.
  15. LOL @ $500 for that POS...seriously..you ppl need to learn NEVER to buy from these places...they buy low end PC's and sell them at somewhat premium prices because people are so stupid...you might as well go to NYC and buy a "rolex" from a guy on the street for $15 too..pretty sure it's legit

So where can I go to get a legit PC? and where can I go to get a legit Rolex? You seem to be an expert in both.

  17. Usb Adapter

Here save you the heart ache. I would never use wireless in my desktop unless it was absolutely necessary, they are meant to run faster and be more efficient not to be wireless. A USB adapter works just fine, its cheap and requires absolutely no knowledge of computers so you wont have to be hassled installing a wireless card.
