    One word..."security" Teaching is pretty much recession proof once you have tenure. In addition I am the only one in our district that teaches AP Psychology, the class has become very popular, and my pass rates for the College Board's AP test has been really good. We may not get paid like other professionals do, but at least I do enjoy my job. I particularly like teaching that class b/c I find psychology very interesting, and pretty much all the students in that class are geniunly interested in learning and want to do well. I could not imagine doing anything else for a living.

    amazing you can get 11 college level classes in some high schools. we only had 2 in my little shitty school lol.
