    yes...like with the WSOP updates, people will add #WSOP. it hyperlinks to ANY twitter post that has used #WSOP in it.

    it will basically put your hashtag with a group of them that are similar.

    there are certain people that will use their own hashtag...like Jose Bautista always uses #beastmode. you can click on it, and see all of the posts related to Jose Bautista and his beastmode hashtag.

    meh, its not that important. I have twitter on my phone and im following like two people. And one of the people is an account that posts naked pictures like 3 times a day.

    Thats probably as much as ill ever use twitter for. Unless i become famous, i dont really see the point of using it over facebook.

    facebook is for friends/acquaintances. Twitter is for following people that write funny shit and a couple people that link to interesting articles or apparently girls that post naked pictures. there's not really any overlap between the two.

    yea FTP forced me to make one after bothering me for years about it, then closed down a few weeks later, lol. glad they did tho cuz I love twitter now

    Yah without poker updates, I never would have opened it again.

    I made an account a long time ago...tried it out...and thought it sucked.

    But with poker updates coming along, I checked it at work...followed a lot more sports insiders...it's definitely great for breaking news.

    LOL I'm not hating twitter (In this thread at least, I think twitter is great for the reasons TWK posted, but unfortunately 90% of twitter users use it to tell me about their boring lives on a day to day basis...I couldn't give two fucks if you had tim horton's coffee this morning), what I really dislike is using hastags OUTSIDE of twitter, where they serve no fucking purpose. This little gay ass trend reminds me of when people used to over absurdly abbreviate when texting/posting on threads.

    I originally got Twitter for the WSOP then just started following more and more peeps and really enjoy the extra insight you'd never get before like directly from players and stuff. A few feeds just shoot out pics of half naked women all day which I love.
