  1. I'm in pain most days of my life but I don't really care because it reminds me I'm alive and that is awesome. There are ocasions that I don't want to feel the pain of life and today is 1 of them, my friend who has lived an awesome life is dying of Lou Gherigs disease, and I hate dealing with it because he is an awesome person. I will spend as much time with him as I can because you never know what time you have. I hope you identify those that should have your attention and you give it.
  2. ALS is such an awful disease and I'm sorry that your friend is going through it. On a related note, have you ever read Tuesdays With Morrie ? Amazing true story about a college professor with ALS and the last years of his life as experienced with one of his former students (the author Mitch Albom). I highly recommend reading it.
  3. I know all about pain bro. You should sign on yahoo once in a while

  4. Looking backwards, I think my pain sucked. My senior yearbook said 'Imagine me not on crutches". I missed almost all of 2nd grade in a cancer unit watching kids die while my bed was full of blood. At 27 I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and beat it. yeah, I know pain.

Looking forward, I am grateful for these experiences. Separate mind and body, or connect them, it will be ok.
  5. My motto has always been, Make friends with pain, and you'll have a friend for life.
Try weed, it helps to take your mind off of it.
  6. One of my best friends was diagnosed with ALS about 1 year ago. He still comes into work everyday. HE is the most courageous person I know. This disease is sooooooooooooooooooo fucked up and we need to find a cure.
