    OBV talking about signing Andy Pettite.



    It's rumored the Rangers and Nolan Ryan are courting Pettite and trying to convince him to come back and pitch in his home state. I think this is a great idea and think the Rangers need to find anyway possible to sign him. He is 38 yeah, yeah, but he finished this year strong and had his lowest ERA since 2005. He is a proven winner, a great post season pitcher, still an easy great third man in any rotation and he looks almost better than ever imho. I think a two-year guarantee w/ a team option for a third would be suffice. Hell yeah, I would sign him! Give him the $! PS not a Yankee fan either, just a baseball fan thinking.

    I would be really surprised if he left NY. He would have to want to leave, because he's already paid it's not like a few million would change anything for him. Would be great for Texas (or any other team really) if they could sign him, I just don't think it would happen. He would fill some seats in any stadium I'd think.

    BTW the Rockies are close to signing Tulo to a monster 10 year extension, according to MLB Trade Rumors.
