Ideas for IPAD2 Apps?

    I bought the wife an IPAD2 and it finally arrived today. I searched on here to see if there was a thread about some of the better app's and didn't find anything.
    Was just wondering what OT had for App's and if you have any suggestions?

    I just asked her and she said " I have no idea". I know this is of no help. Would be interesting to have just a general list of some of the more popular app's. We are both noobs. I have a ipod touch but I haven't downloaded many app's.

    I have a suggestion for apple. First, fleshlight will have to comply by adding a few sensors and a usb cable to there light. Then apple has to make a flesh light holder and an app where you are basically banging your ipad2 and then the display is in optimal distance for a load. The kicker is the app senses loads and tells you how much it weighed. Someday I'm gonna charge for these ideas.

    One of the first things I did was go to Barnes and Noble and buy the most recent iPad app magazine. It gave me a shitload to pick and had stuff from all different type of genres. I recommend doing that.

    I really enjoy Urbanspoon and use it all the time. I also use a bunch of cooking apps, such as Epicurious.

    Would be crazy for them to have a top 25 list for free or paid apps huh?

    Go to this site everyday:

    They have a list of new games on sale everyday and the best deals tab shows you the best deals. Tons of free games on there and there are tons of good deals overtime. You can find all of the popular games on sale for $5 or less, most of them at $1-3. Using this site and some review sites you can find good games and wait for them to go on sale. Never pay more than $5 for a game and usually you can wait and get it for less. I've been waiting for tetris to go on sale since ipad2 launch and it finally did last weekend, got it for $2 instead of 7. I've compiled 6 full screens full of apps for not a ton of money using this method.

    Google will give you some lists of top ipad apps that aren't games. it will also give you some review sites and other ipad forums if you care.

    If you really care I'll write out a big list of my favorite games...
