  1. Grew up on Mexican food, eat it several times a week my whole life and been to Mexico a 1/2 dozen times. Not really debatable for me.
  2. I'd like to know more about the gastronomical tendencies of OT.
  3. Denver. Doubt any place makes more top 3's.

Oh wait? I live here and it is awesome, incredible etc. I feel so lucky, this place is amazing and I do everything I can everyday to not take this shit for granted.

Well then I admire your intestinal fortitude I suppose. I love mexican food. But holy fuck do I regret it after I eat it.

Back to the topic at hand though.. I don't think the awesomeness of a certain areas mexican food should determine where you would like to live. Maybe i'm in the minority on this one?

  5. I don't get the problem with Mexican food. Without reading this thread or knowing who the fuck you are I am going to guess you are either from the east or south, both places where they don't know shit about making Mexican food. Everyone always rants and raves about Italian food and shit. Bottom line, there is no better food on this planet than good Mexican food. I feel sorry for anyone that thinks all Mexican food ever does is make you sick. You are fucking doing it wrong and I pity your soul.

Without giving a fuck you are. I said I love mexican food. And no matter what it does to my stomach, I eat it anyway when I can. My only point was, lol why did this thread turn into a mexican food thread.

Because it is awesome but half of the people on this forum know nothing of good Mexican food? Again, I am making broad statements with no backing but I think I am shooting in the right direction.

    Oh, and fuck you.

Amazing that 7-11 in encinitas has been referenced here again. I grew up in escondido and have lived in fort wortb for close to twenty years, defintely would choose san diego area. Hillsboro, lake whitney area second. We have some mom n pop mexican places in northside that are off the charts when it comes to mex-food.

New Mexico laughs at your silly ignorance. Green chile > all other burrito ingredients combined.
  13. Jupiter pb Florida needs a mention, been there 3 times (worldwoodbat BCS championships) for a week each and that place rapes. Burt reynolds mueseum is a clincher.
  14. Why doesn't anyone wanna live by me?? Aside from a a couple months of heat, it is an ideal place to be year round. Just a few hours drive from So Cal and Vegas, and just a few hours drive north gets you an entirely new climate. Great night life, public transportation, all major sporting teams and events, fine women, outdoor life and golf, shopping, fine women, a housing market that you can profit greatly from right now, clocks never change, and it feels like more than half of the people here are also not from here so you can take comfort in the fact that once you move here you won't regret it.

    seattle ftw tho

Seattle??? I kind of hate Seattle all it does is rain there. It rains a lot here too but at least that means tons of pow in the wintertime and we have some of the sickest mountains in the WORLD to ride!! You pretty much have to be a hardcore outdoor enthusiast to be able to appreciate what AK has to offer.

I love Cali!! It's got it all. Hot girls, beaches, mountains, nightlife you name it. I love the Lake Tahoe area for skiing but I love southern Cali for the weather and beaches. Cali rulez!!

You're talking about Filiberto's. I'm about to get a bacon burrito from there.

I didn't realize how many Mexicans there are in southern Cali until I vacationed there a couple years ago. There is literally a mexican restaurant on every corner.

I noticed that this one lil stand on the side of the road would have a line of people waiting. They must have made some mean burritos there it was obviously a local hotspot.

Then cruising along the Pac Coast highway at night there was this lil restaurant where they sold fish tacos and stuff it was packed. It must have been another lil local hotspot.
  19. All this talk about burritos has me craving chipotle. Bout as good a burrito as I can get around here.

First Chipotle was opened in Denver Colorado. Another reason this place is so awesome. We had Chipotle way before the rest of you fuckers! I eat at the original a few times a month.
  21. SACRAMENTOOOO!!!!

    Wait nope nevermind

  22. I love NC. I don't want to live anywhere other than the southern US. I would move to TN, KY, Charleston, SC area, some parts of FL or GA. Love the climate here, the people, the scenery, the laid back atmosphere and SWEET TEA!

**forgot to mention NC BBQ and other delicious southern food

  25. Unreal how many people want to live in big cities or in Texas. If you are talking quality of life, and a place to relax with nonstop scenic views you have to consider the Flathead valley in NW Montana. They don't call it the last best place or gods country for no reason. The downside is its growing fast and the rich and famous are buying up whatever they can, and Canadians.

I didn't mention Montana b/c of the weather swings. I remember playing a golf tournament in Missoula where I teed off in shorts and 65 degrees and sunny and it's fucking snowing by hole 10 and I can't feel my fingers and it's 24. And they said that that wasn't that uncommon. Really is a beautiful place though
