    Massachusetts is UNARGUABLY the most liberal state in the country, perhaps tied with Vermont. But if you want to see how the liberal democrat ideas work...look at Mass..

    Government conrolled health care- cost double what they expected, resulting in an increase in rates for everyone, highest rates in the country

    Government regulated car insurance (and required as well)- highest rates for car insurance in the country, many companies refuse to do business in this state.

    Control of schools left to individual communities- Elementary schools are second highest in country, middle schools are top in the country (http://www.psk12.com/rating/USindexphp/STATE_US.html)

    Taxes- 5th highest income tax (although we have a flat tax, many other states have graduated) and we have a budgest deficit EVERY year.

    Criminals- we have the highest instance of sex offenders reoffending in the country...thats what happens when you let them go or give them 1 year jail sentences (youve probably seen them in the news) This is what happens when you care more about the criminals than you do about the victims.

    Judges- we have the second highest white-collar crime conviction rate (91.7%) and the 4th lowest DWI conviction rate. Thats what happens when liberal judges think its ok that people have 3-4-5 drunk driving offenses and let them off...they do it again and kill someone.

    These are just some of the things I could think of. Im sure are are some good things too (though I cant think of any), but this is a very good berometer of how many of hillary/obama's ideas will effect us.

    Oh, and we also had a $2 billion dollar budget deficit, but that didnt stop the legislature from vetoing EVERY ONE of Romneys budget cuts.

    i just wish all the NO Child Left Behind haters that want to scrap that program for it's ineffectiveness would apply that same logic to welfare, SS, and the billion other social programs.

    i hate NCLB as well but for valid reasons, like it isn't the Government's F'ing job.

    Thats what happens when liberal judges think its ok that people have 3-4-5 drunk driving offenses and let them off...

    LOL. I didn't realize drunk driving was part of the hidden liberal agenda. LOL.
    What else? Uhhh... It gets could and snows a lot in Mass. THOSE DAMM LIBERALS!!!!

    I think Mass. has the highest car insurance rates and a lot of companies won't do business there is because almost everyone from there CAN'T DRIVE WORTH SHIT!

    You left out that mass. has by far the worst drivers in the country. It's just a fact, they'll put it in reverse on the interstate... it has to be the freedom of that expensive insurance (what are they gonna do raise it??)

    yes mass, cali, and maryland have long been the 3 biggest liberal rag states. sure there are more of them but they are consistent.

    the laws will probably get tougher on dwi once kennedy stops driving, so obv.

    The problem is that the state FORCES good drivers to subsize bad drivers. One of the most furiating experiences of my years at the state house was hearing this quote with regards to de-regulating the insurance...

    "...and then people who have a poor driving record will have a hard time affording their insurance..and thats not fair"

    FUCK YES ITS FAIR! That how it is in most other states. If you want cheap insurnance STOP GETTING IN ACCIDENTS!

    Also, Ill give you one guess who said that...the same person who wants in-state college tuition for illegal aliens...

    Its an african-american liberal...which means everything with him is reduced to race.

    By the way, I should point out that the Governor has little to no power in state politics. The legislature (which in MA has 142 members, 20 of which are republicans) has ALL the power. The speaker of the house is the most powerful man in most states, followed closely by the president of the senate.

    The only good thing about a repub. governor, which we now dont have (thanks to bush being a fucktard) is that they dont propose even MORE rediculous things than the uber-liberal legislature already does. And Patrick wont cut anything out of the WAY overinflated budget, even though Romneys vetos are all overturned anyway...man, dont even get me started...lol
