    Canada begins it's quest for a 6th consecutive gold medal today. They open the tournament against Latvia and are currently leading 3-0 eight minutes into the game.

    It should be a battle between Russia, Sweden and Canada for the gold.

    Anyone else get very excited to watch this tournament every year? Or just me?

    Yes the rest of Canada...that is all though

    Still in my opinion the most exciting tournament year in year out, and ridiculously popular in Canada.

    I'm not real excited for this Championship, and this year is no different. However, I am more into it this year because its happening in my hometown! And no, I'm not going to any games.

    Why no interest, just don't like the sport? This is probably one of the most exciting sporting events of the year.

    i love this tourney and agree it is prob the most exciting championship usually. last year when eberle scored that tying goal it was insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

    That's pretty sick when you score 16 and the goalie didn't even play poorly. Looks like the Blues got themselves a hell of a defenseman there.

    would be pretty easy to say your max goal differential from any game is +10 or something like that
