so probably a stupid question but I grew up in a state w no lottery...
from utah originally live in oregon now, other lottery topic got me thinking bout pooling together some money and splitting winnings...
so is it illegal for me to take money from people in Utah where they don't participate in the lottery and buy a bunch of tickets in oregon for them. just don't want winnings nullified on some technicality.
thanks and yes I am expecting to get flamed for this. here is a pic for the help and hopefully less flaming.

no its not illegal. people in TN used to do this all the time in KY before TN got the lottery.
