LIFE IN A COUNTY JAIL
by YAYO
Its 1999 and Im 18 years old
so Im fuckin sitting in solitary confinement for just past three days now with literally not a god damn thing but my dick and my jumpsuit and im fucking bored outta mymind. I know my boy thats picked up withme three days ago is in a cell right next to mine so i yell "yo brian what are you doin man?"
"SAME FUCKING THING YOU DOING MAN , NOTHIN"
A few minutes later we our cells open and they call our names- we are moving to gen pop. FINALY OUTTA SOLITARY
I knew gen pop wasnt gonna be a picninc but Anyhting to get the fuck outt B house (solitary) and my boy was moving to the same block as me, Well when we got there to our new homes I saw a few more farmiliar faces, My boy mike walked up to me right when I entered the cell block and said, "yo man I sure am glad ur here" he greeted me with a joint (i declined this was no time to get high)
"yo fuck you" I said. I sure as hell wasnt glad to be incarcerated, A few other kids I had gone to school with were in the same housing unit and at least there were enough of us whiteboys that we prolly wouldnt get fucked with. there were 80 people in c house 10 or so were white.
So the first order of business in my new home- hit the fucking phones, I needed cash clothes and i didnt have shit.
I got my boy to come through with some underwaer and socks and some airmax's but i still needed to get some doe up, He came up with a plan to mail me a greeting card covered in blotter. That helped out alot, bought me food and anything else I needed with that shit.
I had not been to trial yet but I also didnt have 30k for bail. Myboys sold of ALL my shit except my car and I came up with about 8k after all was done with and gave it to my lawyer. Igot bailed out for christmas by my parents and I wasnt stressin my case cuase what did the DA have...Nothin but a witness who was already 6 states away thanx to my boys..they really came through for me on that.
I guess the drug task force was thinking that I'd be holdin when they TRIED to pop me, gue4ss they thought yayo was a chump.
well after a brief excursion outside the walls I had to go to my trial and face the music, thanx to the lack of a prime witness and no physical evidence, I was cut a deal, 1 year out in 6 months with good behavior, I took it.
So back in the jail after my vacay I decided to join the workforce for the rest of my time so to get a few days off my scentence and get to go outside everyday. I also found that I could bring in cigarette fairly easily from the outside by having my friends leave me packs wherever I was cutting grass the next day, This made life ALOT easier. I was runnin te jail with cigarettes and porno mags after not very long and my stay was a s cozzy as it could get. I had very few altercations acctept one wth this redneck whiteboy 2 times my size, I wouldnt be able to beat his ass b/c of his size but I couldnt let him make me look like a bitch in front of 80 people in a cell block, I hit him over the back of his head with a chair when he wasnt looking and had no problems from his ass the rest of the stay. Time went on and I got out with nothing more than a few better conecs and a raging hardon for my GF who waited patiently for me and visited me every wednesday.
one fucked up situation- how come 16 grams of crack can get you 16 years but molesting a little boy may get you only 3 FUCK the justice system. -
im pretty sure this is a serious post.
if so , way to stay up man, that takes nuts.
and yea the fuckin justice system is a joke, spome mptherfucker who raped a little kid avoided jail time because he was "too short" to go to jail. WTF -
lets be fair- molesters and drug dealers should get equal time...1 yr and out in 6 months is a joke.. i agree w/you buchy
-
disagree. Molesters should get life, drug dealers should have to watch 10 hours of soap operas and thats it.
-
Good read, Buchi.
-
you think molesters and drug dealers should get equal time?
-
Drug dealers ruin the lives of people that choose to ruin their lives. Molesters ruin the lives of people (many times kids) just because of their own chemical imbalance. Not to mention that many molesters are considered "special" convicts and have to be in a different part of the jail because they will usually be abused too much. So all in all, they enjoy the best life in prison because they don't have to worry about the prison hierarchy since they're all surrounded by the same scumbags that they are. So my point, send them to jail for a long long time with everyone else so big Bubbah could have a great day with them.
-
yes- equal time meaning a VERY long time... i was a bit sarcastic in my post- i actually believe child molesters should have there units cut off and burned at the stake- i also believe people who deal crack, and admitt they did it but the DA was to stupid to catch them HOLDING the crack should be very thankful they got a second chance at life....
-
ty giga, and yes it is true and serious, this was a big turning point in my life where I made some imporatnt decisions to step my game up and stop bullshittin, 2 years later I was buying my first house at 20.
Drugs are never gonna stop- incarcerating drug dealers is the most ludicris approach to solving the problem, Do you think crack head steve is gonna stop smoking crack when his supplier gets popped? Come on, molester and drug dealer same time? WTF is that.
and yes molesters can ask to be moved to Protective custody but that really is just a step above solitary confienment, So they try to belnd into the cell blocks and not let anybody know why they are there, One in my block came up on the news and they saw a picture of him and then looked over "hey thats him right there" things did not end up good for him after dinner, (crushed glass in his dinner tray) -
Just curious yayo (because you bring an interesting perspective to the discussion), what do you think the penalty for drug dealers and users should be?
-
users need help, not punishment, Dealrs obviously need to be penalized but life in prison over a KILO of cocaine sound a bit harsh where as A person cuaght with the same value of marijuana might be out in 2 years or less. I dont have the answers or maybe id be in a black gown deciding the fates of others, I just know that its a little skewd. But it seems like soccor mom thinks that drug dealers are causing the drug problem, Its hard to resist the temptation of quick easy money especially for young people like I was a that age. I dont really have a suggestion other than the fact I oppose MANDATORY MINIMUMS, evey case is differant and weight class scentencing is just dumb if you ask me.
-
buchy- really- i do get it- i get there is no easy answer-- what i do get a bit frustrated with is that i have yet to meet a drug user or dealer that takes a serious look at the damage their actions cause... you were in jail-- can you honestly say that 80% of the people in there comitted their crimes will either under the influence, or trying to get $$ to support a habit? i get that drugs will always exist because there is always a market-i get that its an easy and and quick end to a means.. it doesnt make it right. even if there was a death penalty in place for mere possesion (i.e. other countries).. crack/coke/meth etc causes very serious problems-- especially in younger folks. i just wish it were different- i pass no judgements on you and am happy to hear you have made positive changes.. hope you understand where i am coming from...

I wonder if 7/11 cashiers should all go to jail for the rest of their lives. They knowingly sold thousands upon thousands of packs of highly addictive drugs that are very bad for you. In the same way that the crack dealer indirectly kills lots of desperate addicts, so does the 7/11 cashier.
So why does the 7/11 cashier get paid, and the crack dealer get a lifetime in jail? What's the difference??
Simple: Cigarettes are legal.
the end. -
I thnk they are being punished by being 7/11 cashiers
-
Heh heh.
BTW, I am strongly morally opposed to drud dealing. I just think that when compared to CHILD MOLESTATION.... um... unless you are like, I dunno a Crack dealer that specializes in finding "new customers" (people that aren't ALREADY addicted), I think that the comparison is NON-EXISTANT. I still think it is pretty bad tho, and I think there definitely should be Jail time for dealing some of the drugs (keyword some) that they are selling these days.
For example, obviously the moral difference between selling weed and selling crack is equivalent to the moral difference between giving someone a back massage and shoving a revved up chainsaw into their back.
So yea, just as with molestors, there are "levels of badness" but if you compared the average badness of each of those two types of crimes, and compared the averages, the molestor badness-level-rating would be like 982390849238490289349023904823904820398490238 times higher than the dealer badness-level-rating where "bad" is used in the traditional sense (not bad as in good obv) -

My dad dealt every fucking thing from the time I was like 11 until a couple years ago. Dilaudid, coke, pot (mostly kept that in stock for me, the only people harping on his door were hardcore addicts). He would have been making a fucking mint if he hadn't stuck his nose to the product. Dilaudid is basically synthetic heroine if you don't know, and they only issue it to severe cases; cancer patients, burn victims, etc. Anyways he snorted most of his profit, and now he's on some methodone program where they issue so much a day to stop the pain and sickness. Addict for life. One drug for another, but at least he can run a daily routine now. He works as a natural gas tech now.
Moral of the story... the cops around the area where he was dealing, were PATHETIC. They never ONCE made a bust attempt, openly knew he was dealing. But see, when your clients know the deal, what that little town is run by for little police, it's a joke. They know there's nothing gonna happen to them, so they don't sweat ratting. Not once did one of the addicts get pulled over and questioned, and the traffic in and out of that house was ridiculous. So, if he hadn't been sticking his nose into the profit, he'd be sitting pretty right now. He'd have it made in the shade.
Actually on my mom's side of the family, my grandfather's sister has about 4 children? I think. And 3 out of 4 were involved in drugs. One just got hung in prison. They say it was suicide, but dude had enemies. He was killed, no question. And then his brother, he's sitting PRETTY. He got rolled on in the early years and served some time, this (literally) one-armed man got caught with some coke and squealed. Now this dude can never come home, ever, to visit his family, 'cause he'll be murdered as soon as anybody gets word he's around. The dude who served a few years got out a long time ago now, and just last year he built a fucking mansion, cash.
There's money in the business to be made, and if you've got the balls to go out and make it, power to you. Just dont do your profit. I mean, hell, if they're not getting it from you, they're gonna get it from somebody else, right? -
" I thnk they are being punished by being 7/11 cashiers"
Funniest post from buchi ever lol. -
LSD/acid
-
they gave me dauladid when i was in the ER for apendicitis, man that stuff was so strong and good, i could see how people get addicted to that stuff.
-
So buchi, you did blotter in the pin?? That must of been out of control!
Drink up -
yes, yes I did and I have to say WHAT A BAD IDEA THAT WAS. especially because every 3 hours or so you have to go back to your cell for lockdown for an hour, How suck ass was that? realy suck ass. Picture being locked in what looks like a warehouse with 80 orange jusmpsuits, 80 blue charis and 60 red doors and those being the only colors you get to see.
-
*F* mandatory minimums.
-
my first experience in county jail was when I was 17, class A felony - dealing in a sawed off shotgun + criminal wrecklessness 95-98% minority (Only other "white boys" were gaurds)
