u should be, unless you love paying exorbitant taxes which another war would pretty much guarantee. Syria could likely fight alongside Iran, Iran also has allies in Turkey Russia China who would all probably provide behind the scenes support.

i'm not afraid of iran bombing the united states or any direct physical harm coming to me. i'm afraid of the giant waste of money and lives that we will (probably) spend when this is all said and done. -

While I'm not worried in the least about Iran posing a serious military threat to the United States and its citizens, it does pose a huge threat to our economy and deficit. We need to find a way to avoid this conflict. -

Iran is talking big to try to get leverage in any upcoming nuclear talks and to try and prevent sanctions. Their government may be insane, but they are not stupid. I doubt they expect that their regime would survive a war vs the US considering that the dissent at home is growing
