    I am leaving for las vegas tomorrow with my wife. Although i go a couple times a year, my wife has not been back since we got married there 10 years ago.

    So this is a trip we have been looking forward to for awhile. We work alot and dont have alot of time for vacation. We are staying for 5 days in a great suite.

    I woke up this morning with a tickle in my throat. Throughout the day the tickle has morphed into a major head cold. My head is filled with snot. My body aches. I feel like shit.

    I havent been sick in over 2 years. So why did it happen now? Of all the days in the year?

    because, my friends ... god hates me ......

    I got sick on a trip to vegas.

    head cold and airplane ride=sheer misery(and there was a screaming baby)

    took two days of hookers and blow to feel better.

    on a more serious note... you probably have strep throat, i got this earlier in the week, went to the doc and got meds, 24 hours later i felt almost totally fine...

    EmergenC. Immediately. Get it in the grocery store by the pharmacy. It comes in a box with little kool aid like packets. Put one packet in a small cup of water, mix and drink. Keep taking it until you feel better.

    I am dead serious.

    for real though, goto the doc... if its strept the meds make it go away, the girl i got it from still feels like total trash and she got it like 5 days before me even.

    Prof god isn't real. If he was real he would keep you from getting a cold.
    or maybe he would keep the worlds people from starving and killing each other and for the most part living a miserable existance.

    many good suggestions here ....

    i think im going to mix vodker and benedryl for the plane ride ...

    after that im just going to stay drunk for my whole stay in vegas ...

    god help the people that have to sit next to me and touch my chips ....
