    weird. this is the kind of thing i would normally be into, and i kept trying to like this, but just never got there.

    decent, but nowhere near incredible, that guys voice just doesn't do it for me.

    I didn't like the build up to total length ratio. There was like a 3:30 build up to a 6 minute song. Gotta be more like a 1-5 build up to total song ratio imo

    Liked it OK, but I couldn't listen to a whole album (assuming it's all in this general vein).

    They feel like a band who is trying really really really hard to get a college rock station to film a video of them playing in an art gallery...like, that's their biggest aspiration.

    Not every music thread needs to have other bands posted in it. That said, this is more A Silver Mt. Zion-ish than Explosions-ish.

    I liked this a hell of a lot.

    OP, check out Below the Sea, Esmerine, God is an Astronaut and Mitzura.

    Thanks dude..i liked Esmerine and God is an Astronaut alot.

    If you liked this song, they have a bunch of other really good ones...alot of them mostly Piano.

    Also, another v good band is Stoa, all of their stuff is good
