yeah, there is an entertainment factor though. they gotta get camera friendly people who want to be on tv. thats not gonna exactly attract the best tattoo artist there are. maybe jealousy isnt the best word but theres really no need to delete the threads. i didnt read your post right and thought you were saying it was a tattoo forum. i guess i can see if its just a specific thread on like reddit or some shit like that.

lol they just have shitty people putting the show together plus they know the general public doesn't know a good tattoo. It is 100k for first and a shit load of exposure for your career. They should have had better artists and they wont have a problem getting better artist next season.

i would normally just snap agree w/ you and not think too much about it, but in the last few years, i have been insanely attracted to chicks w/ well-composed sleeves. lone-standing tattoos (ESPECIALLY ON THE ARM) tramp stamps, leg tattoos, etc are generally pretty "meh" (but really, they're awful, i'm just being nice) to me, but something is sexy about sleeves to me, idk what it is. *shrug*

been a decent first season imo. A few of the artists were pretty terrible but some pretty nice tattoos came out of season 1. I think season 2 should be much much better now that they are committed to it early and can attract better artists but Im looking forward to seeing what happens tonight.

my friends have some pieces done by tommy. he is a pretty well known tattoo artist on the island. I know at one point he had like a 6 month waiting list.

I rolled by my boys shop tonight and learned he is in the issue of ink magazine coming out this week. I couldn't tell you the significance of that beyond the fact that I've seen him come so damn far in this world. Been the homie since we were 13 and watched him progress from making t-shirts in his shed in HS and writing on walls to owning his own shop in the uppity part of town. I know for a fact it was just pure motivation and dedication, worked so hard, watched it happen and it was a slow process, yet sooo fast. Best part of the shop is they are ARTISTS, such good vibes in his spot, so proud of him. I know where he started and today is sooo far from that. His co-owner I know through him and has came so far too, really blowing up in the world, is in Barcelona right now and has a spread in this same issue. They created such a solid work environment and most importantly doing what they love in life, art.

I don't know shit about these magazines but I took a copy of the issue and I'm going to put it somewhere safe to keep for life. It's a 6 page spread
