Yea didnt wanna post this in that nonsense thread with the bible junky so i made my own.
Isnt it a bad thing that the most intelligent humans use some form of birth control and only have 1-2 kids over thier lifetime and the ignorant dumb rednecks have like 6 kids caus they dunno how to use it?
Also, isnt it bad vaccinating every disease known to man over the long run because eventually our body will not be able to handle even the common cold naturally?
Think of drinking water in mexico. Ever done it? Bad idea... unless ur mexican of course. Thier bodys are used to the dirty diseased water, however ours is so used to being all clean and bacteria free we cant handle it.
So like in 100,000 years do u guys think the human race will be almost completely dumb rednecks who cant fight off the common cold? :-p -
No because evolution is just a theory...
-
just... gawd
*opens thread thinking there is potential for some real intellectual stimulation...*
idk how i continued to read it got worse n worse -
lol at this being an interesting thought
-
GTFO
-
but if you fuck within your family and your combined iq is 145 doesn't that mean our kids will be smart?
-
Ummm what does reading the bible have to do with ANYTHING I said in the other thread?
FWIW I have never read as much as 1 page in the bible if that makes you happy.
And Zander cmon man. You come across as a pretty cool fellow so I am sorta surprised to see you attempt to mock me like that like the others did.
I thought I made it perfectly clear that I believe in evolution and I never once said that evolution is a theory. Great reading comprehension by some of you guys. -
I think about this often. Only the stupid are breeding. We are devolving.

True Story -
I'm not going to lie bud, I posted in this thread before I even read the other thread... and that family guy vid is for shits and giggles, especially the state of kansas evolution bit at the end... but relax, nothing personal was intended, and it actually makes me kinda sad that you haven't read any of the Bible at all. I've read the Bible, the Koran, several other religous texts... not because I'm religous at all, because I want to know what's in them and what people are talking about when they use these books to claim that certain things that didn't exist when these books came out are prohibited by the Bible/etc... you should give it a whirl, some interesting stuff in there...

there actually might be some validity to this idea, just not in the way you have phrased it. google the hygiene hypothesis. it has been hypothesized that some diseases (namely asthma) are a result of a lack of exposure to various microbes resulting in an underdeveloped immune system that is more susceptible to autoimmune diseases. these diseases are thought to be so much more common in the western world because of our focus on hygiene/santiation/protecting kids from all possible pathogens/etc.

kinda hard to prove, but the idea appears to have at least some validity. -
just wait for Obamacare, it will keep alive thousands of weak people that the human race is MUCH better without (sorry, couldn't resist)
survival of the fittest FTW... I definitely think that we are possibly starting to devolve -
OP: Read "Survival of the Sickest"
It's an interesting book that may help answer some things you're asking. -
hygiene is good, sure, but being exposed to germs and having them in your body is a necessity for life. you must be exposed to common household germs and viruses in small doses in order to develop your immune system.
as for the OP:
