  1. For some reason certain websites are "choppy" when I scroll. Don't laugh, but TMZ.com (my guilty pleasure) scrolls SO slow. Also, my Facebook games like Family Feud & Farmtown (another guilty pleasure) are REALLY slow. I know it's not my internet b/c those websites/games work fine on AU's computer... Any suggestions? Is there an add-on I need? Do I have a virus?
  2. Isnt it farmville?

download the Google Chrome browser..its better anyway
  3. No, I like Farmtown. It's not as cheesy as Farmville.

Tried Google Chrome, hated it... I just don't know what's making all these pages so slow!

  4. Does it like pause and start scrolling normal? If so it's A memory issue (get some more memory) or B you have to many addons in your browser. Try using the safe mode version and see if it behaves the same if it doesn't than its for sure one of your firefox addons. If it does need more memory.

Okay, gotta be the memory. Under my system info it says I have 2.75GB of RAM. Is that a lot? How much should I typically need? I DL a lot of music, but basically that's about the gist of what I do on here. How much is memory gonna cost me?

  6. www.opera.com thank me later
  7. sounds like it mainly happens when you're on a page with flash content. try reinstalling or updating your flash player. flash is a pretty greedy fucking resource hog no matter how you slice it though.
