    OT what do you think is the better deal? is it worth it to pay the extra for the touch, or is it just overrated and the nano will do the trick?

    if u just want a nofrills MP3 player why even waste money on the nano. There are plenty other non apple players out there that are cheaper and do the trick. However, if you are going ipod, def splurge on the touch

    ok if i get the touch should i splurge extra and get the 16gb? i just dont know if i want to spend that much cuz i had an ipod but it got stolen at school... ill get it if its worth it though...

    If getting the Ipod touch worries you right now then don't do it. Wait until your ready. This is not something that we could give you advice on.

    i had 4 gigs with about 800 songs....so based on that..

    4 gig = 800
    8 gig = 1600
    16 gig = 3200

    depends on how many songs u got in your arsenal. I had about a thousand and wished i went with the 8 gig.

    P.S. I know apple claims 4 gig = 1k songs and so on but its based on 3 minute songs or something.
    And no, my equation does not include videos, but if I want to watch videos I dont want to do it on a 2 inch screen, i'd rather do it on my 55" HDTV.....nawimsayin?

    yeah i have like 5000 songs, but alot are queer ones that my old roomate put on my itunes, so i can get rid of some shit... ill have to think about this one more...
