    Denver is def. signing all the other teams throw away free agents, 1 good signing so far that would be Dawkins, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 of the signings they have made are cut before regular season.

    yeah lol at a 5 year contract that allows brian to be paid more upfront going into what is looking like an uncapped 2010 season. Thus saving the broncos cap room for this season.

    wow, thats nice to hear, working 15 hr days all week i miss all the midweek news. with champ and dawkins maybe broncos can actually play some defense this year . maybe they pick up marvin harrison to make recieving corp pretty incredible too.

    the move allows broncos to keep champ at cornerback, they were talking a maybe putting champ at fs which would be bad move imo.I am pretty sure the 5 year deal is for cap reasons anyway. It never hurts to have a positive role model for younger players and with dawkins and champ on defense thats 2 great role models for younger players

    Brian Dawkins is probably my favorite NFL player of all time, and im not happy about having to retire my Dawkins jersey. That being said I completely understand why the Eagles let him walk. If he really wanted to stay he would have accepted a 1 year contract instead of asking for multi years and putting the team in a bad spot. I think its better to break ties now than to sign a 4-5 year deal and have to cut your most popular player. At this point in his career he is little more than an emotional leader. He still stops the run well and brings intensity but in the last 2-3 years I have seen him get burnt deep so many times that its painful. As much as I love the guy he obv isnt what he used to be and if the Broncos are willing to put that kind of contract on the table then more power to them. But if things dont work out in Denver they can simply release him, something that would be a lot harder for Philly to do because of what he means to the fans.

    Gaffney is here for stokelys job because stoke has a lot of concussions and should probably retire. I like stokely but his head was not right this year due to concussions and dropped a lot of balls he never would have before. .....dawkins is basically john lynch all over but way more talented. He is ray borque all over again, on the freeroll for a ring tour. Hopefully eagles fans will root for him to do so since their own ownership sucks cack. BRuins fans did this for ray and they got it. Dawkins will retire an eagle eventually. In Denver he will have to do far less coverage and far more hitting at will. We have the fastest lb's in the game, arguably along with bailey back there. Who will be the other cb is a big question still. Whoever he is better be ready to see all the passes. Sad day for eagles fans though, I almost feel bad for ya lol.
