I rarely drink it but I do like whole milk + water/tea/soda with dinner. having both is the way to go.
phi you could throw some boneless chicken in the oven and then slice it up on tacos. tbh it would take less work than browning ground anything, just a few more minutes to cook. -
Milk is epic with any meal

Has anyone ever had fish tacos?
and if yes, what do you put on them? -
<3 chocolate milk. saying holds true, "Once you go black, you never go back."

Except I obv made chocolate milk.
Which reminds me I should tell you guys how weird I am. If i make a glass of chocolate (or strawberry) milk at home, I drink it with a spoon. Like... ill drink the entire class by the spoonful. I honestly have no clue why, and I think ive been doing it this way for well over 15 years. -
Hmm maybe it's split then. I prefer milk in the morning/breakfast or even lunch time/post dinner. I think it's how I've always been? I've always been a fan of milk tho.

That Taco + Milk + a beer 10 min = :( Butthole.
-
this is level 0 of cooking.
smokecock thread was level - 1.
Nastysmell is level 2 , browning some meat .
All this on a scale of an 100. -
Finally started working! Milk with dinner is standard as a kid but not so much anymore.

Check the label on that turkey. Is it ground turkey or turkey breast? If just regular turkey, the fat content is just as high as beef.
-
I do see the package. No mention of breast. If the OP is so concerned about eating healthy, why not get the turkey breast for the lower fat content?
-
Because non-fat =/= healthy, actually the opposite. Fat is good for your body, low fat diets are not healthy. If you are looking to lose weight you shouldn't cut out fat you should cut out calories.
-
Some fats are good, yes. I've never heard of the saturated fat from meats being good for you.
-
Saturated fats have their benefit just like poly and mono unsaturated fats do. You should have a balance for each. Read this thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...saturated+fats the first few responses have tons of information. SF's have benefits and they aren't linked negatively to cholesterol levels or CHD or CVD

we call these michigan tacos since moving to SD. you can't find ground beef tacos anywhere except taco bell.
-
well if fat had 9 calories/gram it would make sense to eat less of it...
-
never noticed your name before. The real Hassan Jones used to live next door to my buddy in the hood. He would always be out there drinkin and smokin, listening to some old school slow jams with his buddies. He's a pretty cool guy. cool story, i know.

lol @ flour tortillas
-
How many people do you know on low fat diets that still don't lose weight? It's a flawed approach to think that not eating fat = losing fat (or vice versa eating fat makes you fat). You either are eating too many calories or you're not. The healthiest way to lose weight is to eat the right amount of calories while still getting in the right amounts of fat and protein.

Fat is 9 calories per gram but it's also more filling. -
I realize all of that. to me your last post seemed to say something you didn't mean, or something, or some other thing.
-
just so you know chocolate syrup isnt bad for you...its not good for you persay but def not bad at 100 calories per serving...

the more you know................. -
love flour tortillas with shredded chedder cheese, I only drink milk for dinner if I'm eating Italian.
-
I ate pasta for dinner.
Immediately chugged milk afterwards. It was delicious. -
Humans drinking cows milk is not natural. Tastes damn good in my coffee though.
-
I recommend using the leftover meat to make pasta sauce the next day, just chop up some onions and peppers and throw that, all the leftover meat, and some bottled sauce in a pan and simmer it for a while, and you will get a ton of great meals with it.
Obv you can put whatever you like in there, but thats what I do and it is so easy and makes a great sauce, fyi. -
save money+taste buying canned crushed tomatos and making your own sauce. then garlic onion lemon and herb it up. a good red sauce will stand up to a lot so get weird with it
