The quest to break 100 begins. I believe no one has ever shot in the 90's on tour. Will he sign his card?

Nationwide Tour Events and Food Stamps....2 things Jerry Rice will never qualify for.

I agree in principle with this as well.
I actually searched, but this is the post I could find on the subject:
"Mark James' 111 in the 1978 Italian Open is the highest recorded score on the European Tour."
"The record on the European Tour for highest single-hole score is 20. The unfortunate holder of that record is Philippe Porquier of France, who recorded the score at the 1978 French Open. The French Open must have some tough holes, because Ian Woosnam took a 16 on one hole there in 1986.
The PGA Tour does not keep this record, unfortunately, but here are some of the more famous high scores in PGA Tour history:
* Tom Weiskopf took a 13 on the par-3 12th at Augusta National during the 1980 Masters.
* In 2005, Billy Casper recorded a 14 on the par-3 No. 16 at Augusta National during The Masters.
* Porky Oliver took 16 on a par-3 at the Bing Crosby Pro-Am in 1954.
* The highest single-hole score we can find a record of in a non-major PGA Tour event: John Daly (which somehow doesn't seem surprising) took 18 on the par-5 No. 6 hole in the final round of the 1998 Bay Hill Invitational. Daly kept going for the green and kept hitting it into the water - six times, total.
* The highest single-hole score we can find a record of in the U.S. Open (the USGA also does not keep this record officially): Ray Ainsley scored a 19 on the par-4 No. 16 hole at Cherry Hills Country Club in 1938." -
Really? How about we skip partaking in this activity for a second time.

I am gonna assume you are joking. I mean, it was a month ago and he wasn't +13 after 8 holes on pace for 100+. Not to mention I've never seen you 'let's not do this again' to any of the daily repetive poli threads, or UD's daily 'the padres beat the so and so's' or any of the other daily repeat shit, and this is the thread you say 'let's not do this again? Wow!

Lol yeah, I'm obviously partly joking, and also mainly referring to the fact that the last thread degraded into a huge (and retarded) argument about sponsor's exemptions. Sorry for being unfunny =(

Mathias Gronberg shot a smooth 89 on the PGA Tour last year, shooting 39 on the front and 50 on the back. This was a Par 70 course, lol. He WD'd on day 2 after he fired an 8 over first nine. This was in the Honda Classic.

MILL SPRING, N.C. (AP) Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice has been disqualified from the Nationwide Tour event Friday because his caddie used a scope to check yardages.
Rice called the error a rookie mistake and apologized to BMW Charity Pro-Am officials. That means Rice won't take part in Saturday's third round, the last one before the field is cut for Sunday's finale.
Rice had shot a 92 on Thursday, the highest score ever since the tournament began in the Carolinas in 1992. He had rebounded a bit Friday with an 82 at Bright's Creek Golf Club before he was told of his mistake.
Rice also said he would not try to play as a pro at future Nationwide events. He missed the cut at the Fresh Express Classic last month in his tour debut.
