2 Hr's tonight for 600 in his career. One of my favorite all time ball players of the hundreds and hundreads i have met. Congrats sir
-
how the hell wasnt there a thread of this when he hit his first tonioght??
fuck i wish i woulda payed attention more, would have loved to see it -
I've never had a problem with Thome......congrats to him
-
nice work by him
more terrible work by MN sports management -
love thome, one of the reasons i became an indians fan
-
i had no idea until i turned to the game and saw him stand in the batters box that he already had one, awesome channel change as i saw the home run live.
-
lol, no chance hes not in first ballot
-
First player to hit 300, 400, 500, and 600 with different teams.
Respect. -
Congrats to one of the nicest guys in baseball. After the first one it seemed inevitable that he would hit the second.
-
Is there a more underappreciated hitter than Thome? I mean 8 guys have hit 600 home runs. Jeter gets 3,000 hits and wars across the globe simultaneously stop. Good for him, very glad he did it in a Twins uniform.
-
luck boxed it when i flicked over to mlb.tv and his at bat was just starting
congrats and wp -

i hope he does get into the HOF, he really deserves it -
Does it bother you that ARod's 600th HR got way less attention than Jeter's 3000th hit as well?
-
Aloamr was snubbed on first ballot because of the spitting incident. No character issues will stop Thome from being a fist ballot HOFer.
-
Everyone you hear from who ever met Thome all say he is a great guy - don't hear that too often about anyone. I'd vote him first ballot if I had a vote.
-
i wish the 1997 Cleveland Indians would have won instead of the Free Agent Marlins.
ahhh how history can hurt sometimes. -
the Marlins deserved it when they beat the Yankees but not in 1997.
-
Grats to Thome. Hes one of the best guys in baseball. Have met him more than once and he always took time out for the fans even it was on his time. Hes the type of guy you could approach even if he had a piece of steak on his fork and I know this because ive seen it happen to him.

we had that thread on best 3-4-5 hitters, how about them? -
Love me some Jim Thome. Good for him, wish I saw it.
