    You can really tell in the pictures, im interested to see how this effects his game.

    Any chance of him winning another major?

    Any chance he keeps the weight off? Im rooting for the guy. I remember reading a story in SI about john daly drinking at the bar after the 2nd round of the masters. Tiger comes by caring a bucket of balls headed towards the driving range, Daly invites him over for a drink. Tiger replies "If I was as talented as you were I would"

    Tiger said someone else has more talent than him? wow. I find that hard to believe. His father once said "Tiger finally met someone that was his equal." That person Tiger's father was referring to was Nelson Mendela.

    I read the story either in ESPN the Magazine or Sports Illustrated a few years back. It said they were at a tourney and daly was in the hotel bar drinking with a few other guys when Woods walked by. Daly asked Woods why he worked out all the time and to chill out and have a drink. Woods responded with something like if I was as talented as you I wouldnt have to work out.

    Yeah, I forgot the exact details, the message is the same. I also heard Daly plays significantly faster than anybody else on tour. Doesnt take many practice swings, line up his shots, etc.

    I went to the US Open at Bethpage in 2002 the Final Round.. Got there early and Daly was the first guy who teed off. He was in dead last and played with an amateur.. So I wanted to see the course so me and my buddy decided we would follow him around the course for a tour then perch somewhere and watch the leaders come through. He played so fast we couldnt keep up with him. I remember they interviewed the guy he played with after the round and he commented that maybe John had a plane to catch or something. He had to have been done in under 3 hours. And he shot 73 which is pretty darn good for the final round of a tough US Open course.. (Tiger Bigelow shot 72 to ship it)

    Him losing that much weight has to have some effect on his swing. It did to David Duval.. It did to me. When I did the Atkins Diet like 6 years ago I dropped 45 lbs in 2 months and literally could not hit the golf ball at all.. I mean Im not good but I actually walked off a course after 10 holes because I couldnt make any kind of solid contact.. I actually had to reconstruct my swing all over again. He lost a third of his body weight. It has to have some affect on his swing.

    There was an article out near the end of the golf season saying how his stomach band made him lose so much so fast he was extremely weak (when he was in the 72lb dropped range). I believe he was having fainting issues (?) something along those lines. He was really worried about himself (never thought I'd hear that) wondering when he would stabilize. He may have gone to the hospital over it......his wife was on tmz last night talking about his whoring of 6 years (they are going through divorce). "it was just one woman after another". "I forgave him for one but..." good interview. Can you imagine boning drunk Fat daly in his mustard smeared hooters shirt? Lollllllll such whores. His wife was pretty hot for his looks!

    Probably not the smartest idea to lose that much weight in such a short period of time.
