    Maryland's Jordan Williams is going to the NBA draft. I live in Torrington, CT now, where he went to H.S. ... the kid was just as good then as he is now. Shattered the glass one game. Should be a hell of a pro

    No agent tho. Legit second rounder tops. Listed at 6 10...probably 6 8. Doesn't shoot foul shots well. Not athletic. Not a great leaper. I like him but he'll be back in CP next year.

    I went to High School in that area (Regional #7), and NW CT is not exactly the hotbed of future basketball (or football, or baseball, or tennis, or field hockey) stars.

    Although we did have some kick ass curlers.

    Hasnt hired an agent, hope he comes back to College Park. I was really looking forward to him playing with Stoglin and Howard next year.

    hed def be better served coming back for another yr. he's a pretty marginal athlete and has no outside the paint game at all

    I'm not sure why underclassmen are declaring for the draft especially the fringe ones, when there's high chance of a lockout. Makes no sense.

    KG was a bitch, wouldn't respect that Ronnie was better and the team suffered.

    Not a top 50 Illinois HS team ever.

    Its to make your name more high profile. Like a pr campaign. PR= money. Money = winning/chicks/cars/waterfront in miami.

    your right that team wasnt sick at all. KG played 1 year and led the team to a 28-2 record. If Fields doesnt get in a car accident he plays in the league as well.

    i don't understand why people think a lockout matters. it's a weak draft class. if you're in the first round, you get a guaranteed contract. there are probably some guys that, even if they need development, have a better shot of being a 1st rounder this year than any other year.

    at worst, they don't get paid for part of the season. but so what? you get paid nothing in college.

    True, but I doubt all of the players that leave early for college are first rounders and with the next CBA they may reduce the 1st round guarantee money.

    28-2 against the weakest public league in it's history isn't that great of a record especially when you get run from the tourney by undersized white kids.
