    AMAZING, is all I can really describe it as. The Orange Peel, the venue that hosted the show, only holds maybe 900, so to me it felt almost as thought Billy Corgan came over to perform a set in my living room. There were some technical issues tonight, the left bank of speakers went out intermittently, but Billy handled it deftly, chatting with the audience and throwing out some riffs from- Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Yes, Rush, Pink Floyd, Tool, and others. This is the first time I've ever seen a show by a very famous group, after having met the singer, and to me, it made all the difference in the world.     I live about an hr from asheville and really wanted to go to one of the shows..I love orange peel, its a great venue, and asheville is an awesome town. I cant believe how fast they sold out :(

    Man....I happen to be in San Francisco the night they're playing there, and my buddy and I both went on ticketmaster the day tix went on sale to try and get to that show. We just kept timing out and timing out, and then they were sold out....sigh.

    We're going to do our very best to get to that show somehow or other....seems like a can't-miss opportunity.

    PS I randomly met Billy Corgan on the street in Washington DC in 1998. Obv brag post.
