just got a IT job in breckenridge CO

    i am really happy for myself. i am living in NJ, workin in an IT position, and i just got word tonight they want to hire me. i get a 25% increase in salary, and full benefits, and i havent had benefits ever since i graduated college. also, i love to ride (snowboard) and i lived out there last year for the winter and fell in love with the mountains. just had to let OT know... anyone from OT out there???

    congrats! i lived there 5 years. IT is an awesome job for up there! what company will you be working for?
    -dont forget to use your sick days on POWDER DAYS ONLY. odds are you will come in with the sniffles the next day anyhow, just wear a facemask for windburn, ha.

    -is 25% raise enough? housing is the costliest item plus the constant eatting out and drinking every night.

    btw there are no women there. 8-1 ratio. i hope youre car is reliable for trips to denver and beyond! buy lots of lotion.

    hahaha yeah i know about the 8 to 1 ratio. i lived at copper last winter. housing is tight up there and not too cheap but ill figure it out thanks OT

    skisteve. place is called Grand Timber. its a IT position supporting a bunch of timeshare managements and lodges and condo administrations
