    why would they offer that? Mathews is going to be hurt for a few more weeks so its not like hes getting a starter for a bit and Beest has been soo much better, even tho he may not start this week either....

    Do you have the retarded kid that they let score a TD in your league? No brainer here. Snap call and pray that turf toe isn't a lingering issue. Even when Mathews is back, Tolbert is bound to steal a decent amount of carries. Congrats

    easy yes. high ankle sprains are a bitch to play with. especially with 3/4 the season left.

    Uh so much misinformation in this thread....

    I say DON'T DO IT. And I invested heavily in both of them in my two leagues.

    Mathews has such a soft schedule coming up and they said it isn't a high ankle sprain and is just a regular ankle sprain. He should be good to go this week or by next week for extra precaution. Check his schedule during the year, super cheese.

    Best has a GRADE 2 Turf Toe injury. Basically a small ligament tear in between his big toe and his 2nd toe. This is extremely painful and can take all year to get over

    Best I actually like better just because of his outrageous skill set (WR hands, 4.35 40 speed, cutback ability like Peterson), yet on the Lions he is going to be limited by their growing pains.

    Also, Best has a horrible schedule this year.

    But with the Turf Toe injury, and Mathew's soft schedule compared Best's, I have to say keep Mathews because he is going to have a chip on his shoulder after all the talk that he is "injury prone" and is being paid too much

    fwiw i heard on nfl network that Mathews practiced today and is expected to play on Sunday.
