just ordered new desktop please advise on extras i should purchase

    LMAO dude the 32 bit version of vista will only recognize 3 gigs of ram

    firstly be prepared to wait upwards of one month for the computer to arrive. then god forbid its not working correctly, in which case you will be waiting weeks for it to be collected and then redelivered

    that aside, sort your graphics card out while being built. this is a must as if you replace it later, good ones might not fix in teh computer...

    hey tahnks for the replies, im shocked about 32bit not supporting 4gb ram dell should not offer this if this is the case, also what video card do you recommend

    It will actually go over 3 gigs of ram but not much more depending on a few factors such as video card. Im running windows xp 32-bit with 4gigs and it uses 3.25gig instead of the full 4
