    Sorry if this is a repost....but...this is just a total joke.

    JV and Elvis (from 92 free fm in the tri-state area) are suspended indefinitely for some prank they pulled about asian people, and now the station is insinuating that they're probably going to be fired.

    The doghouse was my fav radio show ever, i liked it more than stern, more than O&A, etc...its just so ridiculous. I mean come on, JV's married to natasha yi, yet he's supposedly racially insensitive to asians?

    lol, maybe "feminist" was the wrong word.

    I was talking more about how we're becoming more and more ridiculously oversensitive as a people, to where free speech is really being put to the test.
    Imus was fired for a pretty racist, but still not terrible remark.
    JV and Elvis, who are comedians, are going to be fired for a bit in which they pranked asians.

    I mean, im not the least bit racist, but i think firing entertainers for something like this is so completely ridiculous. That's really what i meant.

    i didnt actually hear the bit, but they've been talking about it on the radio for the past week or so. Im sure you can find a link if you look hard enough.

    Im just really bummed, their show was hysterical and it was a pretty big part of why i woke my ass up to drive 20 mins to class every morning.

    I agree. Its bullshit. What Kramer did was one thing but Imus and these guys its totally different. Almost ALL stand up is based on making fun of races. Look at Carlos Mencia (even though its ripped off from others), His whole act is based on race. If we cant look at each other and laugh, what can we laugh at??

    yeah thats a good point cmval...i mean fuck carlos mencia. he gets away with it becasue he pretends to be a minority...dude sickens me. If jv and elvis were hondurian and made fun of asians, i doubt there would be any backlash. I mean, how backwards is that?

    Racism should be a flat term, it shouldnt matter what race the offender is as long as he isnt making the joke at the expense of his own race. Just like spanish guys saying the n word...i mean...that's fucking stupid.
