I know this isnt a new website but I dont see much about it in OT. What projects have you checked out/backed?
I saw that the +EV comics are on there and I will probably donate to them.
Anyone ever start a project? Such an awesome website, I am looking forward to seriously getting into it. WUG OT -
Apparantely not much
Is this investment or donation? -
I donated 10 bucks to a documentary shot in Nepal, I got a bunch if sweet photos sent to me and a bluray copy when it was done, pretty worth it.
-
It is a donation but depending on the amount you donate you get some kind of gift/token related to the project as a thank you .
-
I was excited to check this site out, but very disappointed at the lack of actual investment opportunity. Most of the people are looking to sell products at pretty close to retail value, but the products won't exist without your capital. Seems very -ev to me, def no upside.
-
There is no real investment opp because they explicitly state monetary returns are prohibited.

It is a great tool to network with open minded people who have a tendency to help out the little guy. The more projects you back the more different communities you get inundated with and if you ever have an idea you want to raise capital for you have a foundation to start from.
Plus it helps jump start innovation and small businesses without prejudices from the govt. The public decides what fails and what gets the funding. Some of the things on there are just fascinating.

I would appreciate it if you did (I'm the writer of the comic). Here's the link to it:

I think Kickstarter is awesome. It's basically this: You pay slightly more than you normally would for a product you want while helping to give that product life. -
Cant wait to get this! Saw it on reddit and snap bought it.

Only six days left in the "+EV" Kickstarter and it's about $1,000 short of its $5,000 goal:

I'd greatly appreciate the support of OT to push this over the top! -
also ordered a remee months ago when they said it would ship in august... been pushed back twice already and now theyre expecting to start shipping in like 2 weeks. the product def works because ive read about older more expensive masks working..
quit smoking weed for a few months back in february and have had vivid dreams nightly since...to the point im already beginning to be lucid in dreams on my own. kinda weird that if u quit a drug you start having vivid dreams all the time -
Holy shit, mthat is quite possibly the coolest invention I have ever seen. Too bad the backing is closed, will definitely be buying 6-8 of those when it is open to the public.
