This reminds me of a scam that just happened to my buddy's grandparents. Someone called from Canada and said he was in jail, and not to tell anyone. They needed $12,000 wired to Canada so he could get out of jail. They sent the $$, and then obv found out it was a scam.

Needless to say, he better not ever call them if he does actually need bailed out.

They should be okay with the fact that you took funds that were supposed to be used for MTTs and instead were wasted on Limit Hold'em cash games? Explain that Nate.

It's a website that people fund loans for other people, rather than banks, etc. You put info about how much you want, why you want it and why you would be reliable at paying it back. People fund the loan with different amounts, $25, $50, etc. until it reaches the point where your loan is totally funded.

Once your loan is 100% funded it will be wired into your account. Easy game.

My credit score is so low it's outright offensive to anyone that actually knows what my number means (still got 3 digits though, bitchessssssssss). So I can't just walk into a bank and ask for a personal loan that I intend to pay back in a month

I think they run your credit score and is possible to be deemed too low just FYI, worth a shot though.
