  1. You heard it here, Kobe Bryant wins the 2007-2008 NBA MVP Award.

I did not want him to win it, don't really like the Lakers, but he earned it. Chris Paul lost it this past week when his team dropped to #2 in the West and everyone wants Kobe to have one. /argument.
  2. if that happens it will be a shame, as chris paul is more integral to the success of the hornets than kobe is to the success of the lakers.

in any case, isn't there already an "NBA MVP" thread?

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>No! Garnett should not have won it. Playing in a weak Eastern Conference does not = MVP unless your stats are almost 2xs as good as the Western vote getters. I guarantee Garnett wouldnt have had those kinda numbers in Minnesota had he stayed.
  15. ^^ The Celtics stats were twice as good as the other teams in the West. Not to mention the team with the best record in the entire NBA versus Western Conference teams was in fact the same Celtics and Kevin Garnett.

Anyway, the Kobe Bryant press conference is later this afternoon.
