Today is the anniversary of both Kurt Cobain and Layne Staleys death. Wonder what rock music would be like if these guys were still around... anyways heres a couple of my favorite vids of them for your viewing pleasure.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0UkxWduyGQ - layne looks pretty rough in this one, but man what a distinctive voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quZ5rE8ujcA - notice the young dave grohl! -

Rip.
in b4 someone claims foo fighters > nirvana -
who?

That AIC album is the best live album ever recorded imo. Nirvana's wasn't bad either. Golden days of rock:

Edited By: SICKTIGHT311 Apr 6th, 2011 at 03:42 AMMe too. Nevermind was the first CD I ever owned. Must have listened to the whole thing like 20 times on a 2 week road trip across the Western half of the U.S.Originally Posted by mindtrip954

R.I.P. guys, thanks for the tunes/memories. -
Nirvana's music was about to take such an amazing and interesting direction before Kurts death.
Enjoy some just released, previously thought not to exist footage.

If anybody watches the video I posted to the end you will see, IMO, the greatest Nirvana set destruction ever.

I thought to myself, what the hell do the singer from nirvana and an ex-eagles rb have in common?
After opening the thread it makes more sense.
