    Teacher Mark Berndt has been accused of feeding his students his semen, blindfolding them and placing cockroaches on their hands and faces. Berndt was put on leave a year ago and subsequently fired. He was arrested Jan. 30. Teacher Martin Bernard Springer was accused of allegedly fondling students. He was ordered out of his classroom Thursday morning and was arrested Friday.

    An elementary school teacher suspected of taking bizarre bondage-style photographs of children in his class was investigated but not charged in 1994 for allegedly trying to fondle a 10-year-old girl, authorities disclosed Thursday. The girl claimed Mark Berndt reached toward her genitals during class, but she pushed his hand away, sheriff's Sgt. Dan Scott said.

    Disgusting. Sad. Just tragic that this kind of crap goes on, especially in a place like a school where you expect your children to be safe.

    Pretty sure the entire institution, ie: Los Angeles Unified School District should be shut down.

    Agree with LS. This stuff happens way to often at public schools. They need to be shut down ASAP.

    forcing school kids to eat semen is taking the public school nutritional program to a whole new level. Seems a bit overboard to me.

    Because? This went on for over fifteen years and officials ignored the problem when first brought to them back in 1994. Sounds pretty similar to me.
