So I realize Miami hasn't been awesome lately, and the Lakers have, but Miami is +2 at home? This is the first game all season they have been the underdog at home. Seems a little crazy to me.

can you post a link to where you got this from?
-
covers.com has it as heat +2

If you think this line is unreasonable, I'd say you're in a fine position to tell us what the inside of your rectum looks like.

it's a trap

Why so hostile? I don't know what home court is exactly worth in the NBA, but I would guess 2-4 points. Thus, on a neutral court, the Lakers are 4-6 points better than the Heat. I'm not saying this a lock, as I'm just some nobody who will watch on TV like everyone else. I feel like this line is based on winning and losing streaks, and I don't know how much validity there is in a team losing six in a row when they've lost five. I suspect 50% of the time they win that sixth game, and 50% of the time they lose. Maybe there is more internal fighting in the Miami locker room than I am aware of. Just saying it is hard to believe that the Lakers have all of a sudden arrived and the Heat will never put together a convincing fourth quarter effort. Also the inside of my asshole is two quarters poop, one quarter dried blood, and one quarter stale semen. Does that help my argument?

... Miami has lost 5 in a row, LA has won 8 in a row... Miami lost to spurs by 30, Lakers beat spurs by 30. what exactly do you need explained to you here? If anything the line is too small
-
correct on a neutral court the lakers ARE 4-6 points better than the heat, that is why the line is what it is. Also their is probably some consideration for recent performances for both teams.

Also, I will take the heat +2.5 for $500 -
With the line @ -2 or 2.5, Lakers win by 1.

Screws everyone on LA and Miami, cuz they most likely took the Miami +ML instead of the measly 2 pts.
Add in that its Thursday night TNT game and above scenario hits at about 90%.

is it safe to say that if miami wins the networks will fucking relax with all the coverage they get? or is this just constant. I'm so sick of hearing about the heat.
-
The line is Lakers -1 pretty much everywhere now isn't it? Anyway I agree, Lakers win this game 90% of the time. No logical reason why they would lose to the Heat at this point, other than the fact that I'm betting on LA and I'm wrong 75% of the time. Something has to give I guess.
-
dickau, i think u misinterpreted what I said.
90% of the time the BOOK wins and everyone loses.
But Gl on the Lake show nonetheless.
if the line has moved to -1, i guess all Laker bettors push and Heat bettors lose.
