First of all, he never tested positive once. Second, he's not admitting guilt and it has never been proven that he is guilty. Third, I don't give a shit!
  3. I did read it and wish he would sell to a local ownership group.

Are you talking about 90% of the guys who are suspected of using steroids in football and baseball, or Lance Armstrong?

All I am saying is, if anyone who comes out in support of Lance Armstrong cannot therefore be in favor of keeping out suspected steroid users from places like the Baseball HOF.

I'm not in favor of keeping out HOF players. They should ban Bud Selig. He was in charge when all hat shit went down. IF you never "tested" positive then you didn't get caught.. End of story.

    Exactly.

people love to get themselves in an uproar over pointless shit.

SFThis. Sports are supposed to be entertainment, right? And athletes are supposed to be singleminded freaks who care about nothing but being the best? Well, steroids/HGH/testosterone help you be the best.

I guarantee people who get into uproars about doping are the same people who dog LeBron because he doesn't have "killer instinct" or whatever. Sports fans are the fucking worst.
  8. In 20 years when I'm in my 40's you can believe I'll be on a HGH regiment.

i'm not saying he's on roids...the real reason he's hitting more HRs this year is because his HR/FB% is at 21.7%--which is so absurdly high i don't even know how to describe it.

however, my point wasn't even about that...my point is that i feel it's a completely valid question to ask given all the information we now know about the past few decades. his power is up at age 38 and he's played with 10 "known" users (or whatever the number is)...why wouldn't it be a valid question?

who needs to walk when you can hit the ball? i realize his walks are down, but his hits are up. so.... whatever? he's leading the league in hits, is he not?

not many guys get better at 38, but we're not talking about melky cabrera here. we're talking about a lock hall of famer who's had his stats go up and down every year and while maybe he's not as good as his numbers would suggest this year, he's probably also not as bad as he was in 2010

chipper jones is hitting .310 this year at age 40. is it roids?

I for some reason have always had the same feelings towards him.

but...but... Desean flopped backwards into the end zone!!!!

maybe I'm the only Dallas fan on the planet that likes him, but Desean Jackson cracks me up. He is like TO in that they 'get it'. It IS entertainment - some Cowboyus fans screamed and wished a broken leg on Jackson when he hotdogged into the endzone against the Cowboys, but shit, if you don't like it, stop him from scoring. If you can't, you got served and he's gonna let you know it.

    Play on playa
  12. At least he didn't bet on baseball ffs.
  13. I'd like his antics a lot more if he was actually good enough to warrant them. He's just a fast little bitch who's one hit a way from counting to potato for the rest of his life. fuck that motherfucker.

    Yea i'm still mad.
  14. This is huge. The Department of Justice should bring some kind of charges against him and put him in jail along with those other cheaters like Bonds and Clemens.
  15. 500+ negative tests tho...
Also, he blood doped, not roids.

(insert Eli pass to Plax here, or empty eagles trophy case here)
  17. I think i'll be mad about that game until the day I die. Giants win that one and they make the playoffs, packers prolly don't even get in and maybe they pull off the same run as last year? Who knows.
  18. yeah I'd rather not talk about the aftermath of that all :(

  19. lol @ this jerkbag armstrong saying in his statement "i'm tired of this nonsense" when referring to all his records. and the always popular "i will not address this situation under any circumstance". LOL doesn't sound guilty at all. What a phony fucking prick, just admit it u 1 nutted bitch.
  20. I am disappointed that he has chosen not to fight this further. I know that he has been a fighter for a long time, but if he is truly innocent - wouldn't it be worth it to fight this and try to clear his name for the millions that have looked up to him?

  21. LOL @ him being innocent, 10 guys were going to testify that they seen him dope... that's why he dropped his appeal.
  22. In most cases you are innocent until proven guilty. In this Case the powers that be have decided Armstrong is guilty unless he can prove he is innocent. It's a case that Armstrong can't win and knows he can't win.

What were those 10 guys going to get out of this? Those 10 guys are the real scumbags here.

having to prove a negative (I didn't do x) is pretty ridiculous.

and lol @ all the haters that have no idea wtf they are talking about, Rorschach test.

the problem is stupid kids. I knew baseball players in highschool that had no chance of making it to a division 1 school that took roids because "thats what you needed to be a baseball player".

now Im not saying this makes taking roids right or wrong but just trying to point out the reason why they test.

I get that, but we have a whole range of activities that we rightfully restrict to the "adult" sphere, I see no reason why PEDs can't be added to that list.

  28. I feel bad for the cyclists who stayed clean throughout the years and knew their fellow competitors were dirty but despite temptation had the integrity to follow the rules. It's gotta be upsetting to be just another face in the crowd in the cycling world and all these guys you know are dirty are getting all the glory while no one knows or cares who you are. The saddest thing though is we will never really know who these people are. They'll never get rewarded for that integrity. Guys that could have potentially won races and competed with the best of the best in their sport were thrown to the wayside because they chose to follow the rules while the cheaters got all the glory. Can you imagine how hard that had to be on some of the guys out there competing who didn't cheat? Then despite their integrity a large number of fans just dismiss it with "well everybody was doing them." That would have to irk them pretty badly.
