    Cause they wouldn't need years to rebuild. They'll have 2 all stars with him and Amare and possibly 3 if David Lee resigns and plays Center full time. (Don't know the status of that) Now include a solid point guard like Parker or even Carmelo next year and you have a solid championship threat. Although, Lakers still own.

    what makes sense about NY is that with amare he'll easily have his most talented #2 but not too talented a la plying with a dwade that people will depreciate a title won

    Amare would be at center, not lee. However both are the same type of player. Having two pick and roll big men wouldn't work. Especially if douglas is bringing it up the court.

    Nothing he could ever hope to accomplish as a player would compare to winning a title for the NY Knicks on the floor at Madison Square Garden.

    I've thought all week he'd end up in NY. I know if I was him that's where I'd go.

    This is true in all of the minds that don't live in Ohio. But I can tell you without a doubt that him delivering a championship to Cleveland would mean 100000x more to Ohioans than winning one with the Knicks would mean to New Yorkers.

    Lol at anyone outside NYC who wasn't a real knick fan already (all 40,000 of them) give a crap how great winning in MSG is.

    I admit it, I can't stand to see Spike Lee happy, HUD. Team is still horribly run from top to bottom, he could only hope in a few years to get near the cavs level already.

    I understand it's huge in NY ... but if you don't live in OHIO ... its really hard for you to understand what he actually means to this city .... He is EVERYTHING ... I know you see this on t.v. and hear it a lot ... but he rly is everything. Cleveland might kill him if he doesn't stay ...
    But back 2 my point - Winning one here in CLE is way >> NY ... We will set the entire city on fire and praise this guy even more til the day he dies.

    I had all 3 in Miami as my rooting interest from the beginning but didn't see how Chicago could f it up. It's always interesting to see how they do it lol. Doesn't reallly matter to me but fun to watch unfold...as log as the knicks and nets are unhappy I am happy.

    I don't think it would be more important for NY than Cleveland. I think it would be more important for Lebron to bring the title to NY than 15 titles to the mistake by the lake.

    He'll be a Knick in about 27 hours.

    So....... Now Lakers only have to worry about a Lebron and Amare Combo is this turns out to be true? That is worse then a Nash Amare combo.... esp since Nash plays so good in a pick and roll with him. lol what a joke of a hype this free agency turned out to be.
