    Check officialgoldrankings.com for accurate roi stats. But I think I remember him saying he makes a little profit off the venture, nothing too significant though. Also, do you always just sell this stuff to some gold wholesaler, or do you ever have someone make something for you out of it (or would that even be financially practical)?

    Every weekend from spring til snow, probably about 8 hours/weekend. Started about 6 years ago. I'd have to do the math, but for this year I'd have to think our average weekend is around 2 oz or a little better.

    LOL We do it for fun, but all of our shit is paid for and we eat like kings and drink Crown like it's Kool Aid. We have one wholesaler who buys all of our gold and sells it to jewelers and collectors. A 1 oz nug on a rope would be cool, but I'd rather have the $1500 bones.
