i just heard this on Espn . . Seems real low to me . Thats it ?
-
my exact thought.
damn sure UFC made a shitload. -
not that 400K is anything to sneeze at, but Sunday I read that he was paid $3M for the fight.
-
does seem low, gotta start somewhere that number will prob. quadruple his next fight or more if he picks up endorsements, which he obv will
-
Just saw that, I thought it was 3 million also, maybe the 3 million was for the length of his contract?
-
pretty sure they give them bonuses that are not reported.
-
probably 400k from ufc, and the rest from sponsors. Maybe he get like 2 mil from coors light for that hilarious comment.
-
No no no.
That's only in disclosed salary. He also gets a significant portion of the pay-per-view buys (which will add 7 figures), plus he likely also gets a "locker-room bonus" of anywhere between 500k - 1M.
The $3M figure originally reported is very likely accurate of his total compensation for the fight, before sponsorships. -
I read on ESPN, and Sherdog on Sun that he was paid $3M for the fight, and that's why Dana White was pissed about him doing the whole Coors Light thing. He didn't want Bud Light to potentially drop UFC because their feature star was bad mouthing them.
-
he got 3mil after the ppv % he got, which is still somewhat low if you consider 1.2mil buys at $60 a pop + arena revenue and sponsor revenue.
Brock also might have deals outside the ufc with sponsors and got a bit more then 3mil, his antics are setting him up to always be a huge draw, love it or hate it. -
400k to lay on a guy smaller then you and bash his head in with your fist, seems fair to me.....
-
i wonder how much Mir got to get his face bashed in . . .
-
Brock Lesnar got $400,000 in disclosed pay, but when factoring in his cut of PPV buys, he is estimated to have earned $3,000,000 for this fight.
Frank Mir earned $45,000 for this fight in disclosed pay, but he is also rumoured to have a cut of the PPV buys that will see him earn 7 figures.
Georges St. Pierre is the other fighter on the card who had a cut of the PPV buys, he got 7 figures as well.
