    3/24: Despite his successful Sunday appearance, where Francisco Liriano threw four hitless innings, there are 13 pitchers left in Twins camp indicating the left-hander will start the season on the farm, this according to the Star Tribune. The report noted that with Liriano getting more work at Triple-A, Brian Bass will make the final cut. Until this actually happens, there is no word on how long the team would want their star left-hander to remain in rehab mode.</SPAN>

    Well its a 14 team league, so pitching depth is insanely thin. Took Halladay as my #1 who's an injury risk himself. Probably should have taken a safter option for my next pitcher...love his upside though...

    We start 4 guys...so since Liriano is out, who would you go with as my 4th now ?

    Hiroki Kuroda - #3 for Dodgers, should be pretty decent

    Johnny Cueto - Cinci Whiz Kid , should be the #3 as well

    Wandy Rodriquez - Ehh. He could be the Astros #2 and get 2 starts the first week....

    He got bombed his last start, but im pretty sure he already locked up a spot due to his other performances....Baker hasn't committed to anything though as of yet.

    Why in the fuck would Liriano start in the minors? Are the twins throwing games this year? Wasn't this guy a complete and utter stud before they needed to shelf him due to injury?

    I believe the keyword is "start".....as in "start" in the minors for the first two weeks of the season, and then join the big club when he has a few more innings under his belt.

    Pretty much, i dont think the twinkies are expecting much from their squad this year...might as well take as much caution as possible with their only stud arm.
